The Chardon Cable Shield Adapters facilitate secure grounding connections in medium voltage underground installations. These adapters are constructed as a single piece from high-grade peroxide cured EPDM rubber. They are specifically designed for compatibility with 200A elbows. Chardon’s 200A elbows are intended for use with XLP, EPR, or other comparable solid dielectric insulated power cables, which come in different shielding and jacket constructions. To ensure correct installation of the cable to a Chardon elbow, the utilization of a Cable Shield Adapter may be necessary
