The Insulated Standoff bushings are designed to be installed in the parking stand bracket mounted on the transformer or other apparatus. A cable is connected to the system ground when needed. The bushing provides a fully shielded, submersible temporary or permanent connection for 600A deadbreak operation.
All standoff bushing brackets have a stainless steel eyebolt which secures the standoff bushing to the parking stand. The eyebolt is designed to be used with a hotstick operation. The Chardon Insulated Standoff Bushing can be used for 900A applications by specifying a copper conductor when ordering.
